Objective: to determine the impact of educational package on the incidence of elder abuse by nurses in the Beheshti martyr hospital, 2017.Study design: This study is the outcome. The inclusion Main criteria: Elders, who do not have cognitive problems and be able to complete a questionnaire, to be able to speak and understand the Persian language, willingness to participate in the study and the age of them more than 60 years. The exclusion main criterion: Filling out a questionnaire incomplete. Method: during the two months, discharged elderly will be sequentially sampled in the considered wards. Then educational package will be distributed among nurses. Again, during two months to complete the questionnaire for the elderly. Execution time: Five months. Study outcomes: increase the quality of care provided by nurses; increase patient satisfaction with care. The instruments examined in this study included a questionnaire that has been prepared with reviewed similar articles and related resources as well as experts' opinion. The questionnaire consists of two parts. In the first section, demographic and in the second part cases of abuse of older people are examined.The questionnaire includes 40 questions in three psychological (13 questions), physical (12 questions) and neglect domains (15 questions), which are scored As 5 Likert scale. Frequency and average will be used to analyze the data and Pearson's correlation coefficient will be used to analyze the relationship between the mean score of abuse and quantitative variables and Spearman's correlation coefficient will be used to analyze the relationship between the mean score of abuse and qualitative variables.

Description
The content of the training in this curriculum includes information on the definition, diagnosis, symptoms, prevention, etiology, examples and legal considerations of abuse of the elderly. Channels will be created on the social network of telegrams, and all nurses will be registered in all nursing careers in the sectors concerned. At various times, educational messages have been sent to them via the channel, and their questions will be answered in the context of instances of abuse of the elderly. For nurses who do not have access to the social network, these messages will be sent to them via SMS.
