Design and implementation of intervention based on the PERCEDE-PROCEED Model among ranchers and their family members
Design
130 Ranchers and their family members were randomly assigned to parallel intervention and control groups and participants are given a code. The intervention is conducted in two sessions of 90 minutes for the intervention group.
Settings and conduct
Location of intervention is Torbat Heydaryieh city Health homes. the intervention group training is provided over two 90-minute sessions based on interviews and structures of Model.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Participants were included if they were Resident of the village and Completed Consent letter of Participation in the study
They were excluded if they were unable to give informed consent and Immigrate from the village during the study

The intervention group includes 65 ranchers and their family members, training is provided over two 90-minute sessions based on interviews and structures of Model

Selection of samples will be such that in rural areas with higher prevalence, 2 villages will be randomly divided into intervention groups and Based on the sample size, 65 people are enrolled in the study and 2 villages will be determinated into control groups (matching will be performed to select the control and intermediate groups).Before doing intervention training, a questionnaire designed was completed by the investigating units. Then intervention training was carried out in intervention group using lecture, questions, and answers. Three month after the intervention, post tests were given using the same questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using spss software,Statistical tests
