Determining the effect of education on the use of checklist on the quality of intra-hospital transfer and hemodynamic parameters of critically ill patients
Design
Experimental study composed of two groups. The sample size consists of 130 patients. The sampling method will be available sampling. Then according to the entry criteria, 65 patients will be allocated into the control group and 65 patients will be allocated into the intervention group.
Settings and conduct
This study will be done at educational hospitals, affiliated to Zahedan University of Medical Sciences. There is no intervention in the control group. Transfer quality is checked using the checklist. The patient's vital signs(Blood pressure, respiratory rate, pulse rate, central body temperature and median arterial pressure) are measured before and after transmission. In the intervention group, the doctrine and the safe transfer checklist as well as the management of vital signs are taught. After one month, the quality of transmission and the patient's vital signs are checked and collected.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria:
Nurses working in emergency departments, CCU, ICU;
At least 6 months work experience in the relevant department;
Satisfaction to participate in the study;
Critical patients who receive a minimum score of 14 and more on the basis of a risk transfer checklist;
Patient accompaniment by the nurse during inpatient transfer.
Non-Inclusion criteria: Patient accompaniment by the resident in training during inpatient transfer; Participation in the transfer-of-patient training course in the last six months.
Intervention groups
In the control group, no training is provided, only the quality of transmission and the patient's vital signs can be observed using the checklist.In the intervention group, safe transfer methods and safe transfer checklist are trained.

Inclusion criteria:

Having satisfaction with the participation in the research study (safe transfer of patients educational courses)
Critically ill patients who need an intra-hospital transfer for diagnostic or therapeutic examination according to the physician's order, and obtain a minimum score of 14 or more from the checklist of transfer risk.
Patient accompaniment by the nurse during intra-hospital transfer
Exclusion criteria:
Participation in the courses on how to transfer critically ill patients during the last six months
Patient accompaniment by a medical doctor (resident in training) during intra-hospital transfer

At first, among Ali ibn Abi Talib and Khatam al-Anbia training hospitals, one of these hospitals will be selected by Simple randomization method as intervention group and another hospital as the control group. Then samples will be selected among critically ill patients being intra-hospital transferred, in an accessible manner
