Determination of the effect of teaching effective communication skills on emotional saturation, resilience and marital satisfaction in mothers of hearing-impaired children
Design
Clinical trials with community based and pragmatic control group, with parallel groups, single blind, randomized.
Settings and conduct
جTraining sessions will be held at the Pajhwok Hearing Center in Rasht. In two groups, a group called intervention group received 8 communication sessions for effective communication skills and the second group did not receive training as a control group. Before and after the intervention, the questionnaires were completed as pre and post test by both groups and finally, the statistical analysis will be done.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Interest in participating in research, low resiliency scores, emotional regulation and marital satisfaction in the pre-test
Exclusion criteria: Children over 7 years of age and more than 2 absentee sessions at training sessions
Intervention groups
A group of 10 mothers with hearing impaired children as experimental group who will be trained in effective communication skills
A group of 10 mothers with hearing impaired children as a control group who will not be instructed to communicate effectively.

Description
Intervention group: Effective Communication Skills Training. This training will be conducted weekly in 8 sessions of 2 hours for the experimental group. Meetings include training strategies for building positive child relationships, training strategies for increasing positive behaviors, training on negative consequences of punishment and strategies to counter child abuse, managing child abuse by parents, and training on identifying high-risk situations.
