Settings and conduct
This is a semi-experimental interventional study with pre-test and post-test group design Which is done on nurses working in the intensive care unit The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of photosensitivity of the patient's face before burn on the quality of care and empathy of nurses with patients admitted to burn wounds in Zare hospital in Sari.The statistical population is nurses working in the burn medical care unit.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Entry criteria for patients: Burns in the face of grade 2 and 3, Burn percentage up to 20% and Unintentional burn
Entry criteria for nurses: Having at least a degree in undergraduate, postgraduate or postgraduate degrees, Work experience for at least 6 months in Burn, Not having more than two weeks left in a month and Satisfaction to participate in the study
Intervention groups
The intervention involves viewing the face of the patient's face before burning And the design of a pretest-post test group.
