Design

The design of the study is a randomized clinical trial. The randomization method is blocked. The sample size for each study group is 150.

Settings and conduct

In this research, all patients referred to the to the Emergency Department of Shohada-e- Haftome tir Hospital who who suffered from isolated limb injuries will be enrolled. Patients will be randomly divided into two groups based on 10 blocks. A total of 300 patients will be examined. Data analyzers will be blind.

Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria

All patients referred to the Emergency Department of Shohada-e- Haftome tir Hospital who suffered from isolated limb injuries will be enrolled. Inclusion criteria: Patients with isolated upper or lower isolated trauma, Patients over the eighteen years old and under the eighty years old. Exclusion criteria: Signs of unstable life, Blow to the head, trunk, abdomen, chest and spine, Vascular or neurological damage.

Intervention groups

In the intervention group, after the patient returns to the triage and initial examination by the nurse, the radiography will be requested by the triage nurse. In the control group, after the patient returns to the triage and the initial examination by the nurse, the patient will visited by the doctor and the doctor will be requested the radiography.

Limb injury location, Radiography Requester, The time of the radiography request by the triage nurse, The time of the radiography request by the doctor, Time to disposition of patient.
