This study is an interventional clinical trials and in this study 50 patients with alopecia areata scalp referred to the dermatology clinic of Tabriz Sina Hospital, during the last 3 months have not responded to topical treatment with corticosteroids, either randomly selected and entered into study.
Patients are divided into two groups of 25, and a group treated with topical DCPC and other group treated with topical Anthralin and finally, in remission rates, duration of treatment, complications, and recurrence rates were comparable and effective treatment is recommended.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria:
1-Patients with a clinical diagnosis of alopecia areata during the last 3 months have not responded to treatment with corticosteroids.
2- Patients who have announced their complete satisfaction for the study.
3- patients older than 2 years.
Exclusion criteria:
1- associated with other skin diseases.
2-severe dermatitis or severe urticaria by DCPC or anthralin.
3- In the past month have been treated another drugs.
4- patients with hematologic malignancies and blood dyscrasias.
5- pregnant women and lactating.
6- patients retarded and physically disabled.
