Determine the effect of acupressure on elderly quality of life
Design
The present study is a randomized clinical trial with two groups of parallel (interventional and control) blinded patients.60 elderly people with inclusion criteria will be entered into the study with written consent,and after completing the checklist for demographic information and quality of life assessment,the samples will be divided into two groups of intervention and control using a randomized block.
Settings and conduct
For the intervention group, 12 sessions of specified pressure points, rotational massage with gentle pressure will be started taking 20 minutes to massage or pressure points, depending on the type of massage. For control group without intervention, the Lipid Quality of Life Questionnaire will be measured before and 4 weeks after the intervention. At the end of the study, two sessions of acupressure will be held for the control group and will be explained about the use of this method to improve and improve the quality of life of the elderly.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Entry requirements:
1. Age 60 and older
2. Not having cognitive problems using AMT questionnaire and earning score 7 and above
3. The ability to communicate verbally
4. Absence of deformity and dermatological disease in acupressure points
Exit terms:
1. Use of psychiatric drugs
2. Unwilling to participate in the study
Intervention groups
Acupressure will be performed in the intervention group and the control group will receive routine care only.

For random assignment, considering that we have acupressure massage techniques, we will use the 4th block. For the 4th block, there are six different modes. So, by selecting 15 blocks of possible blocks, we will reach the equality of the two groups. With the assumption that the individuals in the a group intervention and the individuals in group b are the control group.
