Investigating the effect of problem-based education on improving the performance of medical trainees in conducting interventions related to management of patients with trauma
Design
A randomized controlled clinical trial with control group, parallel groups, randomized, without blinding
Settings and conduct
The study will be conducted at the Evidence-Based Clinical Education Center at Tabriz Emam Reza Hospital Emergency.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Medical students in stager section will be enrolled in the study and students will be excluded from the study with no consent.
Intervention groups
Intervention group: The intervention group will be trained in problem-solving training by emergency medicine professors.
Control group: Traditional training (lecture) by emergency medicine professors.
Main outcome variables
Airway, wound and circulatory problem management.
