Determining the effectiveness of Time Perspective Therapy on Dark Tetrad Personality of mothers and Separation Anxiety Disorder among preschool children.
Design
A Factorial, randomized, not blinded, clinical trial with control group
Settings and conduct
After giving needful permissions from welfare bureau of Kazerun city, selected some of preschools randomly. called children's mothers who suspected to have separation anxiety disorder and they filled in the parent version of Children Symptom Inventory-4 (CSI-4).
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria included having preschool child, being literate and willingness and informed consent to participate in the research; The exclusion criteria included the occurrence of acute psychiatric disorder.
Intervention groups
Intervention group: Implement Time Perspective Therapy during Six sessions that include twice a week and every time for an hour. this treatment make balance between attitude toward past, present and future time. also mothers take information about some techniques of mindfulness.
Control group: received no intervention just only the mothers take some information about Separation anxiety disorder in post-test level.

Randomization description
Simple individual randomization with random number table that create one-digit column in the random number table, by the size of population, and then units are randomly selected. Finally, any number smaller than or equal to the size of the population was considered as the sample of choice. Also, by using sequentially numbered opaque seales envelopes (SNOSE), according to the order of entry of eligible participants, one of the envelopes was opened sequentially and their assigned group was identified.
