Study aim
-
Comparison of TENS current, Ultrasound and exercise with/without Tecar therapy on muscle haematoma, pain, pain threshold and quality of life in Hamstring muscle strain injury
-
Design
-
Randomized , Single blind , Sham controlled clinical trials with parallel group design of 32 patients enrolled and follow up for 1 and 2 months
-
Settings and conduct
-
After assessment of area of hamstring muscle haematoma (bleeding), intensity of pain, pain pressure threshold and quality of life (based on SF-36 questionnaire), patients will be divided into two treatment and control groups randomly.
Patients will be treated in Physiotherapy clinic of Rehabilitation faculty of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science.
