Objectives: Determines the effects of wet-cupping for treating migraine headache. Design: The type of research was clinical trial before and after. All the samples were 47 patients that type of sampling was toward target.
Migraine headaches were among the participants that confirmed their migraine headache with the neurologist. Setting and conduct: Performed wet-cupping in two stages within two weeks and measured in MacGill pain scale before intervention and every 2 weeks to 30 days after intervention. Inclusion criteria included: age > 12; confirm the diagnosis by the neurologist. Exclusion criteria included: become pregnant (females) or malignancy; current treatment with other complementary treatments. In total, 47 patients aged > 12 years with migraine headache; for all of the patients was done wet-cupping. Intervention: Drug therapy continued base on according to neurologist for patient and researcher didn't have any intervention in drug therapy and only recorded their. Researcher did wet-cupping (two times with 2 weeks interval) in addition drug therapy. Outcomes assessed at baseline and again 30 days following start intervention.
