Assessment of the rate of learning about breast cancer screening via data transfer by short message service (sms) by self exam and Assessment of the rate of saticfection in female nurses of Tehran University of Medical Sciences
The aim of this study is to assess the rate of learning about breast cancer screening via data transfer by short message in female nurses of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This is a clinical trial study. Inclusion criteria included female nurses of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. If they do not participate in all tests, they are excluded from this study. The study population is all female nurses of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (4000 participants) and the disputed subject is breast cancer screening. Matrons of hospitals describe the details of the study for participants. A questionnaire about breast cancer screening is designed as pre-test and post-test. All the nurses take the pre-test during 2 days. Educational contents about breast cancer screening is sent via cell phone to the nurses during 12 days(1-4 messages daily). In the next step, the post-test exam is undertaken . Each participant give his own points for pre-test and post-test and send them to Research Development Center of Arash Women Hospital. Satisfaction of the learning method is evaluated by 5 messages that are sent to participants. The rate of learning is evaluated according to The test results.
