Aim: This study is aimed to compare the effects of root coverage procedures on restored and intact root surfaces.
Methods: a total of 30 Miller class I or II recession defects will be selected for the study according to the in/exclusion criteria of the study. The subjects will be treated by Connective tissue graft and Coronally advanced flap. In the test group the affected roots has a restoration of giomer material but on the control group the affected root is a sound root surface.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Miller Cl I or II gingival recession defects with at least 3 mm depth of defects , the vestibular depth shoul be at least 3 mm and the teeth mustbevital, Intention for attend to the study. Exclusion criteria: serious systemic disease.
