The aim of this study is to evaluate nursing processes education on the quality of nursing care. This study is a semi experimental study that will be done in Shahid Lavasani hospital in Tehran. A total of thirty nurses in mental wards are randomly assigned into experimental or control group. The quality of nursing care in both groups will be evaluated with qual pacs quality control scale. Then, the intervention group will receive training about nursing process for patients with schizophrenia. After a 1-month intervention, the quality of care will be assessed and the changes will be compared between groups.

Description
Intervention group: teaching nursing process to nurses, theoretically and practically, in a 5-session educational program (each session is 1 hour). We also will give them a booklet. Nursing process have 6 stages: 1-Complete assessment of the patient 2-Nursing diagnosis 3-Outcome identification 4-Planning 5-Implementation 6-Evaluation. Nurses care their patients base on this 6 stages and do nursing process model for every patient, completely.
