The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of Mefenamic acid and dill on primary dysmenorrhea, female students in Qom University of Medical Sciences in 1390. Inclusion criteria are including age-between 18-28 years old, dysmenorrhea diagnosis in many menstruation cycles and single. Exclusion criteria are including brest feeding, pregnancy, under 18 years old, unknown vaginal bleeding, using ocp (oral contraception pill) and another hormonal drugs, any type sensitiveness to Mefenamic acid. In this study, 75 women in the intervention (25 people), placebo (25 people) and controls (25 people) groups will participate. Intervention group will use from dill 500 mg capsules, placebo group will use of the 500 mg starch capsules in the same capsule with dill capsules and control group will use the Mefenamic acid 250 mg capsules every 6 hours, from 48 hours before the estimated dysmenorrhea cycle to 72 hours after start of bleeding for two consecutive cycles. In all three groups before and after taking capsules will be measured pain intensity using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).
