The effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral group therapy on sexual wording, sexual role, stereotypes about sexual issues and life orientation among female high school adolescents in Tehran and Mashhad in comparison with the control group
Design
Clinical trial with control group and intervention with non-cornered parallel groups were randomly selected (cluster sampling)
Settings and conduct
5 high schools in Mashhad and 5 high schools in Tehran
They answered the questionnaires of Sirvanovski and Anderson's gender schemas, life orientation, Bam sexual role, and stereotypes about sexual issues. Multivariate analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Female gender.
- Age range 15 to 17 years.
- Declaration of written consent
No entry conditions:
Consumption of medical and psychiatric drugs
- Having severe depression and having serious suicidal thoughts
Having criteria for diagnosing sexual identity disorders
- Drug abuse
Having an illness or physical problem that prevents you from attending meetings and understanding the content
Absence of intervention sessions for two sessions
Receive any other treatment during the intervention period
- Repetition of educational background
Intervention groups
The present study included 119 female students in Mashhad and 131 female students in Tehran who were selected by cluster sampling method and randomly assigned to two groups in Mashhad and Tehran at the same time and to Sirvanovski and Gender Schemas questionnaires. Anderson, life orientation, Bam sexual role, and stereotypes about sexual issues responded
Main outcome variables
Sirvanovsky and Anderson Gender Schemas Questionnaires will be completed before and after the sessions

First, using cluster sampling of 5 high schools in Mashhad, 30 people from each high school were randomly selected and after reviewing the inclusion and exit criteria, finally 120 people entered the study and were sent to experimental groups ( 5 groups of 12 people (n = 60) and control (n = 60) were assigned.
