Comparison of the Effect of Education through Social Media and Booklet on Nurses' Knowledge and Attitude in Children's Pain Management
Design
A Quasi-experimental study with control group on 75 rotating shift nurses
Settings and conduct
The first intervention group received training through an educational booklet prepared by the researcher, and its contents include information about pain and its types, pain physiology, different tools for pain diagnosis, pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of pain relief, and they will have 72 hours to study. In the second intervention group, the content of the educational booklet will be presented in the form of content, videos and images related to the topic of pain management through Whats App messenger, and the researcher will review the content in a collective group in which the participants are added. And will be sent and 72 hours time will be given to the participants to study. During this period, follow-up will be done by the researcher through the Whats App messenger to check the study of the materials sent by the samples. The control group will receive routine ward training.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
• Nurses who have been working in children's departments for at least 6 months.
• Shifts are rotating.
• Have a bachelor's degree or higher.
• Access to mobile phones at home and at work
• Have access to Whats App
Intervention groups
The intervention group will consist of two groups, and it includes intervention through educational booklets and intervention through the Social Media.

Randomization description
Due to the possibility of exchanging information between intervention and control groups and minimizing contamination between samples, sampling of shift nurses will be done and also random allocation will be cluster randomization method in a way that randomly Three sections will be in the control group, three sections in the training booklet group and three sections in the training group through social media, and all nurses in each section will be included in the study.
