Thirty patients with major depressive disorder without psychotic appearance referred to Razi Hospital in Urmia were divided into two groups of 15 intervention and control.
Settings and conduct
Thirty patients with major depressive disorder without psychotic appearance referred to Razi Psychiatric Hospital in Urmia were divided into two groups of intervention and control and for each member of the intervention group the Holy Quran (Surah Hadid) separately in the interview room by Headphones played

Main outcome variables
After distributing the Holy Quran and filling out the questionnaire, results were reported that the patients' condition had improved
