purpose :
it is evaluate anti-oxidant effects of green tea on periodontal diseases those effects.
Target sample and size:
30 patients with chronic periodontitis
inclusion criteria:
chronic periodontitis , probing depth over 5.5 mm
exclusion criteria:
smoking and systemic disease effect the periodontium.
intervention:
Patients divided two groups.
The first group (15 patients) collected saliva and they are control group without any interaction.
The second group collected saliva and then prescribes green tea for 4 weeks then we collected saliva again.
outcomes:
Finally effects of green tea as an antioxidant on bleeding on probing and clinical attachment loss evaluated with kit.
