Comparison of two basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation training methods of face-to-face and virtual on learning resuscitation skills in military families
Comparing the effect of two methods of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation training, in-person and virtual, on the rate of learning resuscitation skills in military families
Design
An interventional study on 100 samples, with parallel groups, no blinding, randomized, due to the lack of use of drugs, there is no example. Randomization is done based on blocks of 4 in two groups.
Settings and conduct
This study is conducted in the organization homes Tehran. People who are eligible to enter the study (families) are selected and then the necessary explanation is given regarding the working method and objectives of the study and the necessary consent is obtained from them. Their knowledge about cardio-pulmonary resuscitation is collected, and further, by using the performance review checklist which includes 12 items, the performance of these people in dealing with a cardiac arrest victim (mannequin) is measured practically through the researcher's observation.People who score less than 12 will participate in the course and will be placed in two training intervention groups, one face-to-face and one virtual. Cardiac arrest is taught theoretically and practically (mannequin). In virtual training, using virtual channels and sending videos, photos, and PDF files of the training booklet will be provided during two weeks. And then a week after the test is done in both groups. is done Then the researcher compares these two methods.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Being 12 years old or older; willingness to participate in research; reading and writing literacy; Physical and mental ability to perform CPR; the participant is not a member of the health and treatment team.

Randomization description
Considering that the research will be an intervention study and has two conditions of intervention and random allocation, then the sampling method is based on the criteria of entering the available sampling method and then random allocation with blocks of four in two training groups. The face-to-face method and the training will be virtual. The method of random assignment with blocks of four is that the letter A is assigned to the training group by the face-to-face method and the letter B is assigned to the training group by the virtual method, and in the blocks of four with the letters A and B, six states AABB, BBAA, ABAB, BABA , ABBA, BAAB are written on separate sheets and thrown into a container.Randomly, one of these sheets is taken out of the container and the composition written on it is memorized, and that sheet is thrown into the container again. Because the sample size in this study is 100 patients, this process is repeated 25 times and each time the combination written on the sheet is written in the sequence of the combination written on the previous sheet, and then a number from one to one hundred is written in order of letters to each letter. has been allocated consecutively. Each letter is placed inside a matte envelope and numbers 1 to 100 are written on the envelope. Each time a participant is selected, one of these envelopes is opened in the order of the number written on the envelope and it is determined which group the participant should be placed in.

Description
Intervention group: Teaching basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation in person. At this stage, all people are trained in theory and practice (mannequin) in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to deal with cardiac arrest victims during a 2-hour session. In order to standardize his training, the researcher uses the 2020 guidelines of the American Heart Association as a source. The participants will be given a basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation training booklet. After the intervention of the subjects, a post-test will be done one week later.
