This study is a quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test design.The aim of study is to examine to effect of problem solving skill training on interpersonal communication of midwives of Kerman city hospital. Statistics community is midwives are working in hospitals of Kerman. Hospitals based on randomly divided into two groups of experimental and control, to reduce the interaction between the two groups. The sample size on the basis mean difference between two group to certification 90% determine 100 midwives, that into census select 50 midwives in experimental group and 50 midwives in control group.
Inclusion criteria:Midwives have at least on year working experience, also during the last 6 month have not participated in life skills classes; Exclusion criteria: Experimental group who have not participated in at least one sessions or in complete questionnaire that are filled are excluded.
METHOD: Type method is intervention. After explaining , participants will be inter into voluntarily . in the first phase, interpersonal communication questionnaire will give to the groups.after completion of the collected data, intervention tack place. Intervention implementation workshop to be held only for the experimental group. Workshop will held the three- hours session. The workshop will be training Problem-solving skills with group discussion, question and answer, brainstorming and pamphlets. Finally will be grant certificate to participant group from hospital. while the control group will be not receiving any intervention. Research tool is interpersonal communication questionnaire that so will be fill immidatory and two month after finishing intervention by two groups. After data will collect, result will be analyse on the t-test and paired- t-test. finally results will be examined wether problem solving skill training have effect on interpersonal communication skill ?

Intervention group: for intervenetion, the hospitals have midwifery personnel will divide into two groups, intervention and control groups randomaly. each group consist of 50 people who will be selected based on stratified sampling. intervention implementation workshop During the three-day (each session four hours) to be held in the test group. sessions will be incloude Problem-solving skills training with group discussion, question and answer, brainstorming and pamphlets. interpersonal communication questionnaire to them on three times before, immediately after and two months after intervention. will be given to the impact of the training. finally will be grant certificate to participant group from hospital.
