Study aim
To assess the effect of peer education and nurse education versus control group on the quality of life, resilience and anxiety of multiple sclerosis patients
Design
This is a randomized clinical trial with control group, phase III, in which eligible patients will be randomly assigned through the drawing of lots to the intervention and control groups
Settings and conduct
This study will be performed in the MS Association in Hamadan city on 120 eligible patients with multiple sclerosis. The patients will be randomly assigned to the intervention and control groups through the drawing of lots. Blinding is not possible in this study.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age 20 to 45 years Suffering from multiple sclerosis Having anxiety Being literate Exclusion criteria: Speech or hearing impairment Recurrence of the disease
Intervention groups
Intervention group 1: Routine recommendations in addition to educational sessions for 45 to 60 minutes every two days for 5 sessions by a person with multiple sclerosis with at least 5 years of disease history Intervention group 2: Routine recommendations in addition to educational sessions for 45 to 60 minutes every two days for 5 sessions by a nurse Control group: Routine recommendations

Primary outcome: Quality of life, resilience, anxiety

Randomization description
Random assignment of the patients to the intervention and control groups through the drawing of lots. To do this, we prepare three sheets and write "intervention 1" and "intervention 2" and "control" on them. Then, by referring each patient, one of the sheets will be randomly taken and the patient will be assigned to the intervention or control group.
