Design

The study groups include nurses working in the emergency and special care departments of Aja hospitals who have a history of caring for dying patients. This study has a control group, with parallel groups, without blinding, randomized, on 64 patients. A table of random numbers is used for randomization.

Settings and conduct

The place of study is selected Aja hospitals in Tehran. After the plan is approved, it prepares a list of hospitals and then selects the selected hospitals by random method. Then he divides these hospitals into two test and control groups by lottery method. those who meet the criteria for entering the study will be included in the study after obtaining written informed consent.

Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria

Inclusion: having at least a bachelor's degree, having a history of caring for dying patients, having no history of mental crisis based on self-report, exclusion criteria: It is unimpeded to withdraw from further cooperation in the research. If the subject's attitude and anxiety score is above 70%.

Intervention groups

Intervention group: In the test group, the researcher conducts 2 workshop sessions of 30-45 minutes in groups of 8-10 people with the content of model A8 with the method of sharing experiences. The first session: the pre-contemplation stage, thinking and preparation In the pre-contemplation stage, along with familiarization and introduction, questions are asked about the feelings towards death. The second session: the action stage, death as an acceptable process and facilitation Personal life experiences and psychological integration are taught. Educational content is given to the control group.
