Design
This design is a semi-experimental two-group study (intervention and control) that is conducted on 70 nurses working in the Cardiology Department of Imam Reza (AS) Mashhad Hospital and their nursing reports. Allocation will be non-random and will not be blinded.
Settings and conduct
70 nurses working in the Cardiology Department of Imam Reza (AS) Mashhad Hospital
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Criteria for entering the study: full-time employment in the CCU department; having a bachelor's or master's degree; willingness to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria: relocation of workplace; unwillingness to continue participating in the study.
Intervention groups
For the intervention group, an in-service training course on the use of standard nursing language in the form of a 6-hour workshop (4 sessions of 90 minutes) During two days, lectures, case studies and group work will be held. During the one month implementation of the intervention, the researcher with the help of supervisors and shift managers will check the quality of the registration based on the training provided and provide the necessary feedback to the nurses. Data collection in both intervention and control groups will be before the training workshop and four weeks after the end of the training course. The obtained information will be analyzed. After the completion of data collection, if the control group wishes, a training workshop will be held for this group as well.
