Comparison of three simulator training methods based on scenario and retelling sessions, training using educational videos and question and answer system and lecture method and question and answer system in improving students' non-technical skills
Design
For example: a clinical trial with a control group, with parallel groups, a blind strain, randomized, on 100 students. A random table was used for randomization
Settings and conduct
In order to train the students in the simulation group, help is taken from the operating room environment, and the students receive training on a mock-up by attending an inactive operating room. The group receives the lecture method and video viewing in a classroom environment that has computer systems as many students as possible. Computer systems provide the possibility of doing the question and answer method.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Anesthesia students of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences who have completed the 3rd semester of study and have successfully passed the 2rd anesthesia unit
Intervention groups
Students are divided into four groups. These groups will experience different trainings to improve non-technical skills:
The first group, which is the control group, will not experience any training. The second group uses the simulation method based on scenarios and debriefing sessions to teach non-technical skills. The third group will benefit from the method of educational films and the question and answer system in a classroom environment that has a computer system for the number of students, and the fourth group will benefit from the lecture method and the question and answer system in improving non-technical skills.
