The aim of this study was to determine the effect of group counseling on the awareness, attitude and practice of reproductive health in adolescent girls living in Hamadan welfare centers in 2016. The present study is a Semi- experimental study with single-group design with three stages of pre-test, immediately after the test and one month after the test. The research Community consists of adolescent girls living in Hamadan welfare boarding centers. The research sample consisted of adolescent girls living in Hamadan welfare boarding centers who had inclusion criteria (ages 12-19) in the research environment. Due to limitations in sample size, sampling was done as a census, and result, all adolescent girls living in welfare boarding centers with Inclusion criteria (30 people) were enrolled in the study. In the pretest, data gathering including demographic characteristics, awareness and attitude and practice of reproductive health in adolescent girls living in welfare boarding centers were carried out through a questionnaire. In this research, in each session, the group counseling intervention was conducted as in six sessions of 60-45 minutes in groups of 15 people. In each session, after group counseling, , the educational pamphlet was given to adolescent girls. After intervention, the questionnaires were completed immediately after the intervention and one month after the intervention. In this study, the primary outcome variable is the knowledge, attitude and practice of reproductive health, and the secondary outcome variable is group counseling. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods.
