Clinical trial of Effectiveness of social problem-solving training on The Rate of Oppositional Defiant Disorder such as pertinacity and disobedience in school-age children
The aim of the current research was to investigating effectiveness of Social problem solving training on the rate of Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Statistical population was the male students of third and fourth grade schools in Isfahan city during 2010-2011.Study method was experimental.The sample consist of 30 students with Oppositional Defiant Disorder that were selected using multistage random cluster sampling and randomly performed in experimental and control group. Inclusion criteria for participants was to obtain high scores on the questionnaires and exclusion criteria was having comorbid disorder and disagreement Children and parents to participate in training sessions. Training of social problem solving performed in experimental group. Training program was run During 7session for an hour.Intervention has been cognitive-behavioral.Primary outcome measure is reduced pertinacity and disobedience in children.
