The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of music therapy on anxiety and pain in general surgery and fragrances are. Samples from male and female patients admitted to the general hospital ward of Imam Reza (AS) and the Sinai city of Tabriz, their age is between 15 to 55 years, will be selected.
Samples using a random number table into three groups, music therapy, aromatherapy and control will be divided.To no intervention control group was not.
Anxiety by all patients before the intervention will be measured in hours rather than the night before surgery.The 8 and 16 hours after surgery while they last at least 3 hours since the last received parenteral analgesics are Anxiety and pain using the VAS scale intervention will be measured after half an hour.Aromatherapy in the intervention group, 10 drops of rose water using a dropper in hand and will be advised Chkandh Then rub palms together, hands in two and a half to five centimeters from nose to breathe and kept for three minutes.In music therapy, the music sounds of nature (water, birds) to use the HiFi Type Marshall 30-15 during the sick will be played.
