This study is a quasi-experimental type. The aim of this study is to determine the effect a SMS based education intervention based on theory of planned behavior constructs on fuction of female college students regarding water saving. The study sample including 122 female college students who are resids in the dormitories of Yazd university will be assigned either to the intervention (n=61) or the control groups (n=61). First, suitable scale will be designed and validated. In the next stage, two groups will complete the scale before the intervention. According to pre-test results, SMSs will be designed and tested. developed SMSs will be send to students in the intervention group. Two groups will be followed 1 month after the intervention and complete scale again. Finally, data of two stage will be analyzed.

Description
Intervention group: Performing a SMS-based educational intervention. Approximately 20-30 massages based on theory of planned behavior constructs (including subjective norms, attitude, perceived behavioral control, intention and behavior) will be designed and sent to participants in the intervention group during 4 weeks.
