This study was designed as a clinical trial to evaluate the effect of training on the knowledge and skill of nurses in terms of hand dressing. Totally, 90 nurses with Master's or higher degrees and any job experience (inclusion criteria) and without history of sensitivity to disinfectants (exclusion criteria) participated in the study. The participants were divided into two groups based on randomized numbers. The training intervention was implemented as showing a 30-min movie or delivering a 30-min live lecture for each group. Before the intervention, the questions related to demographic information were answered by the participants and the effect of training intervention was investigated using two checklists: one including 15 questions for examining knowledge level and another for checking the skills. The checklist was completed by the participants themselves before and after the intervention.
