Intervention 1: Intervention group:4 counselling Session, 2 times every week,60 minutes, (45 minutes counselling, 5 minutes summary and a 10-minute Q & A) session I: Introduction and referrals • confidence-building • Evaluation and counselling on successful coping diseases • assessment and counselling on medication adherence session 2: • encourage patients to express their feelings about ECT • manage negative beliefs and fears about ECT -Wrong belief correction of his treatment • self-care educational in different part of ECT session3: training of health promoting behaviors include healthy lifestyle, sport, Healthy diet, session 4:Training of health promoting behaviors, including stopping smoking, taking drugs accurate and timely management of complications. Intervention 2: control group:Usual Nursing Care.

hamedan Iran (Islamic Republic of) +98 81 3838 0150 sadeghianefat@gmail.com Hamedan University of Medical Sciences Iran (Islamic Republic of) inclusion criteria:1.The patient is a candidate therapeutic Electroconvulsiontherapy 2- older than 18 year 3- to have the ability to read and write 4- Do not have physical diseases that lead to cognitive impairment , 5- does not have a physical disability. • 6- history of drug abuse (NPS) is not. 7-do not have psychosis 8- Do non need to ECT emergency 9- be able to speak Persian exclusion criteria:1.
