Regarding inclusion criteria 120 people were selected and assigned equally and randomly in to intervention and control groups by random number generator software(60 in each group). Intervention 1: The researcher divided the intervention group into three groups of 20, and for each group, four 75-minute-training sessions were conducted according to the health belief model-based drug abuse prevention behaviors. The sessions were conducted in classrooms. Teaching methods were presented by the researcher in form of lectures, questions and answers, class questioning, teamwork, studying leaflet at home, collaborative discussion and motivational contest.
