After the educational needs assessment, with the help of a special care specialist, a postoperative pain management training program was designed. Training sessions were held in the form of feedback lectures in a two-hour session and three days and different hours so that all nurses could attend the classes. After the sessions, a postoperative pain management manual was provided to the nurses. Then the researcher came to the ward and answered the nurses' questions.
