Protocol summary

Summary
This study aimed to determine the effect of social skills training on perceived competence of deaf female adolescents in special school settings. The participants were all of the 69 deaf female enroled in 4 different special secondary schools. Two out of four secondary schools were randomly allocated to interventional and control groups. The interventional group (33 adolescents) participated in 12 sessions. A pre-post quasi-experimental design used to perform the study. Pretest and posttest data were collected using the Perceived Competence Profile (PCP) and were analyzed with analysis of covariance.
