Evaluation the Effectiveness of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing in Increasing the Prisoners' Compatibility and Comparison with the Control Group in the Central Prisoners of Mazandaran
The aim of this study is todetermine the effects of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing in increasing the prisoners' compatibility. This study will be conducted in Mazandaran Central Prison. This study is designed with pre-test and post-test model with the control group. Totally 40 prisoners from Mazandaran Central Prison will be selected by simple random sampling method. Prisoners with history of the conviction period more than 4 months and education degree between the second guidance and high diploma will be enrolled into the study. Prisoners will be randomized into two groups of 20 units. Intervention group: treatment of desensitization with eye movements and reprocessing will be conducted during eight sessions (one session per week -ninety minutes) on the case group (n=20). Control group: no intervention will be done (n=20). Bell compatibility questionnaire will be used for data collection in the case and control groups.
