This study aims to improve the mental health of mothers and reducing symptoms in children with ADHD was conducted.
mothers of 4-12 year-old children with ADHD With entry criteria: ability to read and write; lack of psychiatric diseases؛ lack of medical ailments؛ aged between 18-50 years. lack of experience of crisis situation in six months the latter were selected. Exclusion criteria included: failure to participate in more than one training session; failure to do home exercises was more than one session. The studys population consisted of all mothers who were ADHD child 4-12 years old in Mashhad Abne sina psychiatric hospital pediatric clinic were file. for this study had a sample of 44 people .
The intervention of 8 sessions of 90 minutes of emotion regulation training was based on Gross model for mothers in the intervention group. The control group received no training
ghq tests and Connor's parents Did for both groups before, immediately after and one month after the completion of both groups.
Intervention time since the beginning of August to the end of the Persian date Shahrivar (sep)2016.
The primary outcome was Perferment of mental health of mothers and reducing symptoms of ADHD in children.
