The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of Holographic reprocessing therapy on symptoms of post-traumatic, life expectancy and mental adjustment with illness in patients with cancer. The research method is experimental and research design is pretest- posttest with control group. The sample will consist of 30 women with the study criteria that randomly will assign to an experimental and a control group. The tools used in this research will include, Checklists the symptoms of trauma, post-traumatic cognitions(PTCI), life expectancy and Mini- mental adjustment to cancer scale(Mini- MAC). These tools will be completed before the intervention and after the intervention. The experimental group will receive nine 60-minute treatment sessions, while the control group will not receive any treatment. Terms of Inclusion in the study as follows: age over 20 years; having one kind of cancer (gastric, breast, and brain and nerves, etc.); no history of neurological and psychiatric diseases; lack of substance abuse and lack of simultaneously participation in psychological classes;. Terms of exclusion in the study as follows: Lack of any study Terms of Inclusion; missing more than two sessions. The main outcome variables in this study will be the symptoms of trauma, recognition of post-traumatic, life expectancy and mental adjustment to cancer.
