The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of a training program with multimedia program and educational booklet on self-steem and self- efficacy Acute Coronary Syndrome. For this clinical trial 90 patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome referred to Particularly heart of University Hospitals of Medical Sciences were divided randomly into experiment (n=60) and control (n=30) groups. Inclusion criteria:
Participants randomly into three groups multimedia package, educational booklet and control will be assigned. criteria included: Acute Coronary Syndrome; age below 75 years; having the possibilities of using multimedia package in the home; ability to read; lack of previous using from multimedia training methods and educational booklet about acut coronery syndrom; Contact with the research department or a family member ; Knowing the time, place and person. Exclusion criteria included: unwillingness to continue participation in the study; Worsening of the disease; Use of similar educational resources. The instruments for collecting data were " coppersmith self steam questionnaire" and " cardiac self efficacy questionnaire ". Data were collected before and 1 and 2 months after the intervention in the three groups. Eucational program with equal content was applied for both experiment group (multimedia program and educational booklet) and control group.
