Determining the Effect of Motivational-Enhancement Therapy (MET) on the pattern of drug use after delivery in addicted women
Design
At the beginning sampling is with access method that including all addicted postpartum women,they will then be randomly assigned to control and intervention groups
Settings and conduct
This study is an experimental interventional study with pretest and post_test design and implemented in afzalipour kerman hospital
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Criteria for entering the study:
1 - Women aged 15-45.
2_Willing to participate in the study
3_Addicted depending on the definition of DSM_5
Intervention groups
Intervention group:individuals in this group will participate in four Motivational-Enhancement Therapy,session according to the following program:
session 1: familiarity, referral description of a life day,physiological effects of alcohol and drugs
session 2: expectation of benefits and drugs, communications, roles.
session 3: knowledge of stimulants, role playing technique, problem solving, reward for success.
session 4: Determine a goal and readiness for change, re_engagement after a slip.
The control group does not receive any counseling.

Description
