Determining the Effect of Positive Psychotherapy on Understanding the Meaning of Life in Cancer Patients
Design
Eligible patients will be matched according to age, sex, and duration of the disease, and will be randomly divided into two groups.
The sample size was estimated to be 30 according to the Pukak formula, which will include 40 individuals per group, including sample loss.
The structure and content of the sessions will be designed and implemented by the Saligman and Rashid (2006) protocol for the intervention group, and then the post-test will be performed from both groups.
Settings and conduct
Eight 90-minute training sessions run by a psychologist on a weekly basis of two sessions (two groups of 20) on cancer patients in Kerman.

Be able to answer questions in the questionnaire and be able to communicate
Not afflicted with mental illness
Age over 18 years
Intervention groups
It will be composed of two groups of participants (test and control). By starting a pretest from both groups, the study will begin.
Positive Psychotherapy course will be performed by psychologist for intervention group in eight 90-minute sessions twice a week (two groups of 20).
