Protocol summary

Study aim
Effect of Seven Stage Plan of CPR on Non-Technical Skills in Nursing and Anesthesiology Students
Design
The study is a semi-experimental one with a only post-test design. Sampling method is census. A total of 42 research samples were stratified and randomly assigned to both intervention and traditional groups.
Settings and conduct
This study is conducted at the Center for Clinical Skills in a Simulated Environment. First, the workshop theory section was held for both groups. Then, in the practical part of the workshop, the intervention group performs a CPR scenario in a simulation environment based on the response plan of the seven stages response plan of CPR, while simultaneously in the traditional group, this scenario is performed in the traditional hospital method. Each of the teams in the intervention group and the traditional one will be videotaped during the implementation of scenario. non-technical skills of resuscitation students after the end of the study was evaluated by 4 evaluators and the non-technical skills questionnaire and the team assessment Emergency Measure is completed.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Do not experience the patient's CPR There is no CPR experience in the simulation environment
Intervention groups
The intervention includes a seven-stage response plan of CPR(SSRP-CPR). The plan has seven phases: waiting, entering, resuscitation, maintaining, announcing a family, transferring and criticizing the code. In the intervention, a 4-hour workshop on a SSRP-CPR is presented and a 4-hour training workshop on the common management of CPR in hospital is provided for the traditional group.
Main outcome variables
Coordination, Communication, Awareness of Awareness, Control, Organization, Prioritization, Team atmosphere, Compliance with the CPR Protocol, Roles of Team leader and Teamwork

Randomization description
All undergraduate nursing and anesthesiology students of the Nursing and Midwifery Faculty of Bojnourd, who underwent a cardiopulmonary resuscitation unit, were selected through stratified sampling in two groups of traditional and intervention. The students of each discipline were considered as a class and randomly divided into two traditional groups and a seven-stage response plan using a randomized simple randomized random numbered table.

Intervention groups

1

Description
Intervention group: The intervention group is called the "Seven-Stage Response Plan of CPR (SSRP-CPR) Group". The number of members of each resuscitation team was 6, one of whom would be randomly selected as the team leader. The intervention was a four-hour workshop on a seven-stage response to a cardiopulmonary resuscitation response for the intervention group. In the theoretical part of the workshop, for two hours, SSRP-CPR will be taught to students as well as The American Heart Association's Advanced Adult resuscitation algorithm for 2015 will be taught to students. SSRP-CPR mainly focuses on teaching non-technical skills, including teamwork training, effective communication, coordination and collaboration, planning and organizing, and team leadership. SSRP-CPR is the process of explaining and implementing a code (having a possible cardiac arrest patient, transferring a patient to a hospital, and delivering a patient to an emergency hospital, resuscitation, etc.), sponsored by the American Heart Association Any conditions, including time, place and with any number of people, are recommended and enforceable. Then, in the practical part of the workshop for 2 hours, the CPR's teams immediately implemented the CPR's scenarios on the basis of an SSRP-CPR.

Description
Control group: Called the traditional group. A 4-hour workshop for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including a theoretical part and a practical part, will be held for the group to provide first-time theoretical training on the common practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the country's hospitals, including job descriptions, number and place of appointment The members of the hospital resuscitation team, as well as the Adult Advanced Life Support algorithm for the 2015 American Heart Association, will be held for students for 2 hours. The number of members in each of the teams is 6, one of them as the team leader will be randomly selected. Of the other 5 people, one person was recruited as a Chest Compressor, two as airway and respiratory, one drug, one auxiliary Rescuer. After completing the training, the theoretical part of the workshop immediately participated in the practical part of the workshop for two hours, according to the traditional method, to practice non-technical skills (teamwork skills such as communication, coordination and leadership skills such as organization, prioritization, and control) based on CPR scenario. After training the theoretical part of the workshop, immediately the CPR teams in the practical part of the workshop will implement a CPR Scenario for two hours in a traditional way.
