Determining the effectiveness of treatment based on acceptance and commitment on increasing academic motivation, quality of life at school and reducing academic failure of students with active memory disorder.

Design

The research implementation method will be as follows; First, according to the current research method, 40 people (20 people in the experimental group and 20 people in the control group) will be selected as a statistical sample from among the statistical population of this research. The population, sample, sample size and sampling method are introduced in detail in the following sections. Then, Ainli and Burke's (1992) Quality of Life at School test, Harter's standard academic motivation questionnaire (1981) and the GPA of the last semester of each student will be taken as a pre-test from all the people in the statistical sample.

This research will be carried out to determine the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy in terms of education and quality of life in school and reducing the academic failure of students with active memory disorders, acceptance and commitment therapy sessions for experimental group subjects in 8 sessions. will be done.

Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria

All working male students studying in the first year of high school in Iranshahr who suffer from active memory disorder will be included.

Intervention groups

For the experimental group, an 8-session commitment-based acceptance training intervention will be presented, including central processes including cognitive dissonance, acceptance, connection with the present, self as context, values, and committed action (Hayes et al., 2006). Meanwhile, the control group will not receive any treatment
