Comparison of the effect of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation training by the method of group educational and structured video using video self-assessment on the knowledge and skills of construction trade union workers

The purpose of this semi-experimental research is to compare the effect of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation training using the method of group training and structured video using video self-assessment on the knowledge and skills of construction trade union workers.

The clinical trial has a control group, with parallel groups, without blinding, randomized, with 2 groups of 36 people, and the rand function of Excel software will be used for randomization.

The study is of a semi-experimental type and will be conducted on the workers of Abarkoh trade union in the trade union's place. Blinding was not used. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training using a structured group method with video evaluation as the intervention group and training video in the control group.

Inclusion criteria: willingness to participate in the study; Age over 15 years. Exclusion criteria: work experience in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation; Participation in similar training programs

In the method of structured group training using video self-evaluation, theoretical and practical training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation will be provided to the learners. Training in a structured group method using video self-evaluation includes 6 steps. The first stage (brief review), the second stage (silent demonstration), the third stage (show with comments), the fourth stage (oral), the fifth stage (exercise), the sixth stage (group exercise), the duration of the training is expected to last about 60 hours and Up to 60 minutes, students are given the opportunity to exchange ideas and practice in small groups, and during the resuscitation operation, which lasts for 3 minutes, the video is taken of the individual and he is told to rate his performance according to the checklist.
