Summary
1) Objectives:This study aimed to comparison of the effects of concept mapping and webquest on nursing students' learning in the course of diabetes was conducted. 2) Design: In this quasi-experimental study, 72 nursing students were randomly divided into two concept maps (n=38) and webquest (n=34) groups. 3) Setting and conduct: After the pre-test, both groups are trained.Educational content includes the definition, diagnosis, complications and treatment of diabetes and patient education that be offered in the 4 sessions of concept mapping and webquest methods for each of the groups. 2 weeks after the intervention, post-test will be performed 4) Participants; Inclusion criteria: obtain medical surgical 3 module; lack of receiving previous training in the field of diabetes; taking IT module. Exclusion criteria: not participate in the pre-test; absences in a class session of concept mapping; lack of timely delivery assignments of webquest. 5) Intervention: WebQuest & Cocept mapping methods 6) Main outcome measures (variables): Before and two weeks after the intervention, nursing students' learning, is measured by an achievement test.

Description
Group concept mapping: diabetes lesson in 4 sessions are offered to students to enable them to provide a concept map of the content. At the end of each session, with the necessary feedbacks, maps are corrected.

Group webquest: diabetes lesson in 4 sessions(each class session 5 steps by webquest method) designed and are offered to students. Students enter their password to get into any of the sessions. They carry out the required activities and at the end, providing their task.
