This study is a randomized controlled trial with parallel groups. Samples will be selected from men women admitted to the toxicological emergency of “Noor hospital” in 2013-2014 with regard to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.
The inclusion criteria are age over 20years old; understand the trial programs and consent with it and at least history of two attempts of suicides. The exclusive criteria are death except suicide and have no consent after a period of time. The sample size is 50 and will be collected by random sampling and divided into two groups. follow up interviews by phone in one group and face to face in another group will be 2 and 4 weeks, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 months after last attempt.(20minutes each one). The follow ups will be done by a psychiatry resident and will be same in two groups. The follow up form will be filled by him. During each interview, we will ask about thoughts and new attempt of suicide, stress or, hopefulness and motivation, and the patients will refer to a psychiatrist, psychologist or social worker. The each session will be explain the importance of follow up and treatment and ways for delaying suicidal and negative thoughts then their questions will be answered. We will compared suicide attempt in two groups and understand which one is more effective.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: male and female more than 20 years old; more than two suicide attempt in past history; ability to understand the conditions of study; signing the study informed consent; ability to have communication for fallow up; no history of cognitive disorder or dementia in cases(DSM4-TR criteria); no medical emergency state that needs emergency intervention (for example an urgent surgery).
Exclusion criteria: changed address and phone number that causes no more communication; the patient will not want to continue the study death (except suicide).

Description
In face to face follow up, we will evaluate mental status and problems of patient in a brief interview (about 20 minutes) and compare it with last session. Then we will explain them medications or psychological treatments due to interview and their problems. We will speak about psychological treatments, CBT, problem solving, copying mechanisms due to their problems, them will answer their questions about that and he or she will refer to a psychologist, psychiatrist or social worker. We will follow up the result in next session. (In face to face follow up we will evaluate the mental status and problems of the patient, risks for patient’s health, proposed therapeutic strategies and lead them to an appropriate treatment).
