Study aim
Determine the effectiveness of a community outreach program on the vision of people with schizophrenia
Design
The study was a experimental with pre-test and post-test design with control group. The statistical population consisted of all patients admitted to Tolo Rehabilitation Center. For this purpose, 40 patients with schizophrenia admitted to Tolo Rehabilitation Center who met the inclusion criteria were selected by convenience sampling and randomly divided into experimental (n = 20) and control (n = 20). 20), were replaced.
Settings and conduct
The experimental group was trained for two months, two sessions per week, for 45 minutes per session and a total of 16 sessions. The group sessions were set up to 16 45-minute sessions and two sessions per week between 8am and 10am. Was held by a researcher at Tolue Rehabilitation Center
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria included psychiatrist's confirmation of diagnosis of schizophrenia with DSM 5 diagnostic criteria, at least two years after onset of illness, history of recurrence of symptoms, psychotic attacks and hospitalization, willingness to participate in research, ability to pay attention, learning and providing appropriate responses to concepts. That is to be explained. Exclusion criteria for any psychiatric disorder other than schizophrenia ,The acute phase of the disease ,deafness and blindness and sensory disturbances that cannot be remedied by means. ,Received electric shock in the past 6 months, unwillingness to continue evaluation
Intervention groups

Description
Intervention group: Session 1: Introduction to Community Outreach The first session will introduce you to the skills you learn in community outreach and identify the specific benefits you will receive while attending the program. Part 2: Symptoms of Disabling Psychiatric Disorders At this session you will find information about symptoms of psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and recurrent depression. You will also be aware of the medicinal benefits of treating these symptoms. The more you know about your medications, the more you can help your doctor choose the best medicine for you. Consideration needs to be given and what behaviors you should learn to prepare for discharge and continue treatment.Session 4: Planning Your Community Return You will talk to the therapist individually about where you live, how you will be financed, and how you will continue to receive other community services. This meeting will help you become more involved in planning for your future. Chapter 5: Community Relationship In this meeting you will review resources and services available in the community and meet with a person in the community (eg, a worker) who will later Getting in touch can help you stay in touch. Studies have shown that meeting with a mental health worker before discharge increases the likelihood of continuing treatment after discharge and continuing your recovery.Session 6: Dealing With Stress in Your Community In your sixth session, you will discuss how to deal with stress in the community. You also get information on how to do leisure activities in the community that helps you control stress better. If you learn how to manage stress and avoid conflict, you will have a better chance of staying healthy. Step 7: Design a Daily Schedule This session is about listing the amount and type of daily activities appropriate for you. Keeping your daily schedule motivated to do more will give you a better feel Engaging in a variety of daily activities can help you avoid feeling stressed, lonely, and even depressed, and can even reduce symptoms. Learn what you need to follow up on this appointment. Timely appointments help you keep your disease under control. Chapter 9: How Medication Prevents Recurrence In your ninth session, you learn how medications work and how to control the body's response to medication. Session 10: Assessing the Effectiveness of Prescription Drugs You will have more time to follow up on your physical response to the medication and use this information more effectively to communicate your needs to your doctor. Session 11: Solving Medication Problems This session will teach you how to Identify and resolve drug problems. This will make the medicines work better for you.Session 12: Solving Problems with Drug Side Effects This session discusses the possible side effects of different types of medications and you will be accompanied by a therapist on the side effects and other exercise (role playing) issues. You learn to identify alert symptoms that may indicate a recurrence. This will help you manage your illness more effectively.Session 13: Identifying Recurrent Alert Symptoms In Session 13 you learn to identify your own warning signs that may be indicative of the onset of recurrence. This will help you manage your illness more effectively. Chapter 14: Keeping Alert Symptoms This session will introduce you to daily alert control and think about someone who can help you with this. . If you can keep track of your warning signs, you may be able to take appropriate action before your symptoms return. This will not require you to be readmitted again.Session 15: Developing an Emergency Relief Prevention Plan You are here to follow a step-by-step plan that you should follow if your symptoms are severe and you need help. Step one: Ask for personal help Step 2: Contact a mental health professional. Step 3: Visit a mental health clinic and visit a physician. Step 4: Unless the clinic is referred to the emergency department of a psychiatric hospital.Session 16: Take your emergency plan into the community. In the last session you will find a support person who can help you in an emergency. You will also find a list (what are your warning signs? What actions do you take to support a successful community life, which can help you maintain the skills you learned during your community outreach program?
