Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the effects of standard airways care education in ICU patients on the fatigue and moral distress of Nurses working in these parts and It will be done as a single group quasi-experimental study with before-after method. Design: This research is a clinical trial and cross-sectional study that was designed on nurses working in the intensive care unit of Valiasr hospital in Arak. Setting and conduct: the patients with following criteria will be enrolled into the study: a) Nurses with a bachelor's degree and higher degree in nursing and are interested to participating in the study; b) Nurses (employed or working on a contract ) working in Valiasr hospital for more than one year. Exclusion criteria included: a) Subjects’ personal interest to leave the study. All nurses working in ICU wards of Valiasr hospital which has the characteristics of the research sample, will be evaluated by census method. Before intervention questionnaires about moral distress and fatigue will be completed by nurses and the standard airway care checklist also will be completed by the researcher after attending various staff shifts. Then all nurses who have expressed their consent to participate in the research will be given the necessary training. The data Obtained in the initial study with the data obtained from the completion of the questionnaires and the view checklist after the training will be compared and analyzed. The intervention period is three months .Principal Outcome Variables: The study's outcomes included the fatigue and moral distress of nurses and the quality of nurses' care through artificial airway in the studied patients.

Description
After the initial assessment standard care rates of patients with artificial airway and the severity of fatigue and moral distress, In the field of standard care of artificial airway will be trained to nurses in two one-hour session along with a presentation of a pamphlet. Two weeks after the training (intervention), standard care rates of artificial airway patients also the intensity of fatigue and moral distress of Nurses will be assessed.
