Comparison of acupressure points HE_7with a third eye on anxiety in patients undergoing coronary angiography at Ali ebne-Abitaleb hospital in Rafsanjan
Coronary artery disease is the most common heart disease. There are several tests for the diagnosis of this disease. Angiography is a standard way of definitive diagnosis of coronary artery disease. Acupressure is one of the treatments for anxiety. Different studies have been done on the effect of acupressure on anxiety. A study to compare the effect of acupressure on anxiety patients in two points: HE_7 with Third Eye in undergoing coronary angiography patients in Rafsanjan Ali ibn Abi Taleb Hospital will be carried out. This study is a clinical trial with random sampling. 135 eligible patients will be enrolled and randomly assigned into three groups of 45 blocks of acupressure points HE_7, third eye and placebo groups. The intervention will be applied 30 minutes before angiography in these areas.
Before in intervention the demographic information such as age, sex and anxiety questionnaire will be completed; also 10 minutes after the procedure another anxiety questionnaire will be completed.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Iranian nationality; no particular problem at the application of acupressure ( absence of wounds, burns , cysts , abscesses ); lack of medicines, sedatives, analgesics or drugs such as a beta blocker before test; consciousness of the patient; non- emergency condition; lack arrhythmia dangerous for the patient; hemodynamically stable patients without history of mental problems, history acupressure or drug addiction. Exclusion criteria: having health problems ( vision, hearing, mental ); history of coronary angiography.
