Determining the effect of Storytelling through simulation on moral reasoning and Sensitivity of undergraduate nursing students of Tehran University of medical sciences

Clinical trial with intervention and control group, block randomization method or quadruple blocks, sample size 60
Settings and conduct
The study of the effect of narration through simulation on the ethical reasoning and sensitivity of undergraduate students using narrative-based training sessions and by analyzing questionnaires by Colberg and MSQ, which are filled by students, the impact of narrative on the rate Insecurity and moral sensitivity are measured
The place of intervention will be the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
entry: 1- Being aged 18 to 30 years old 2- A semester of eight undergraduate nursing students 3- Passing moral education based solely on the curriculum of the undergraduate degree, 4- Passing internship in the field of children
Non arrival: 1-Age less than 18 or more than 30; 2-Students of all semesters except semester 8
Intervention groups
Intervention include 4 sessions with 3-hours (two sessions per week) training the four principles of bioethics that are taught in two consecutive weeks for intervention group.
The control group will not receive training.

In this study, all eight nursing students of Tehran University who are passing a unit of children are selected and divided into two intervention and control groups using block randomization method or quadruple blocks.

Intervention group: Investigating the effect of storytelling through simulation on the reasoning and moral sensitivity of undergraduate students using storytelling training sessions and analyzing Kohlberg and MSQ questionnaires filled out by students. The impact of storytelling on the level of reasoning and moral sensitivity is measured.
